Can I serve alcohol at my event?
Yes, with restrictions.

How many parking spaces are there?
407 spaces including 10 handicapped parking spaces. Spaces are also reserved for car pools and low-emission vehicles.

What are the Conference Center hours?
The facility is available for rent from 7 a.m.-midnight daily. Any event requiring additional hours, including for set-up and clean-up, may be charged additional fees. The Clarence Brown Conference Center business office is open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

What's your largest space available?
The Etowah Ballroom at more than 12,800 square feet will accomodate 1,068 guests for a seated banquet, and 1,424 guests for a reception, or 64 ten-by-ten trade show booths.

Can I use candles during my event?
Yes, but they must be enclosed in a votive or globe (no open flames).

Can I hang things from the ceiling or walls?
No, but you may use sticky notes for presentations and workshops.

Can I rent the whole building?
Yes, we even rent the parking lot from time to time.

When is my deposit due?
50% of your total rental price is due at the time of your contract signing, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your event.

Can you recommend a caterer?
You may choose a caterer from our preferred catering list.

Can you help me with hotel reservations?
Absolutely! There are 520 hotel rooms located within one mile of the center, and a total of 1,600 hotel rooms nearby.

Can we bring our own food?
Parties of 50 or more must use a licensed caterer.
